Our spice journey: Curry experts. Event profs.

Right now, we’re talking to a LOT of you about your plans to get together with friends & loved ones. 2025 is THE year to start the party…after all, everyone loves a good get-together.

We have more than 12 years’ experience working with private clients, corporates & wedding couples who want to have the BEST Indian dishes, served by a top team who are really enthusiastic about the gourmet curries we serve.

We will curate your menu according to the type of event you’re hosting. We have a brilliant selection of canapés, bowl food & even Indian BBQ. We are particularly good at vegetarian or vegan dishes (South Indian roots) & always use the finest local suppliers as our partners.

We love to pair fine wines & craft beers or cocktails too.

We started the year feeding students a wholly vegan menu at the LGBTQ+ ball at Bristol University and delivered lunch to post-production house Plimsoll Productions. It was really lovely to be working in our ‘home city’ instead of trekking down the M4 motorway. May this theme continue in 2025.

Other highlights include an Indian BBQ, then dirty late-night snacks for a gorgeous summer festival wedding. It was on the father-of-the-bride’s hilltop farm in Cornwall and also not one but two ‘top secret’ North London private parties.

We added Warner Bros Studios (for South Asian Heritage month), Blink Brow Bar and Cisco to our client list and their experiential Diwali sweet stand was a particular favourite of mine as we were able to divulge so many of our sweet secrets.

Later in the year, we fed the serviced-apartment residents of Box Makers Yard and said good bye to our 1971 vintage Land Rover.

Sadly, after street food trading since 2011, the UK weather is simply too unpredictable and after six separate downpours (not great when your clients are dressed so fabulously) we’re going to focus on indoor operations. Outdoor options are still available, but will be reserved for pleasant conditions only.

Contact us for a sample menu or for reviews from one or two of our very happy & foodie customers.

Hope to feed you soon!

Although our roots are firmly in Bristol, as event caterers, we've been busy working away, mainly in & around London for the last few years.

Coconut Chilli has had the absolute privilege of attending some of the most well respected food festivals in the UK including Jamie Oliver’s ‘The Big Feastival’, and also Abergavenny Food Festival. We have also worked with prestigious corporates such as the Financial Times and Microsoft and prestigious universities like Oxford and Imperial College London. A particular highlight was the Diwali celebrations for the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, in Trafalgar Square.
